Natalie Elphicke’s values are not the values of the labour movement.

It’s outrageous that she should be allowed to join the Labour benches while principled socialists like Diane Abbott MP and Jeremy Corbyn still haven’t had the whip restored.

We know Labour will come under pressure from business interests but there should be no backtracking and no weakening.

But Labour needs to deliver the New Deal for Working People as one of its top priorities.
