We should throw the kitchen sink at this issue. Chronic absenteeism is a massive problem. The admin helped kill a Todd Pillion bill that would have helped schools bring kids back. And now he’s trying to kill this program that has proven effective.

This week, Governor Youngkin refused to sign a bill to protect access to contraception. Instead, he gutted the bill’s protections for IUDs, birth control, and emergency contraceptives.

As the next Governor of Virginia, I will defend the right to contraception for all Virginians.
