These are not the remarks, let alone the arguments, of a serious person. This is the way someone who has never been challenged to defend her views with facts and reason speaks. This is someone who thinks she is winning the battle of ideas simply by articulating her desires.

This is the key sentence;

“he would never have had the jab if he had known of the risk of rare but serious side effects”

Fully informed consent and no coercion is the backbone of good medicine. People MUST always have info & choice.

They had neither.

This is an ill-judged response by Mel Stride.
You don't have to subscribe to any theories to understand that sacking care workers who chose not to take an particular vaccine was wrong & should never be repeated.
Similarly with mandated lockdowns.

'I simply don't subscribe to the theories.' I asked Work and Pensions Secretary Mel Stride whether he would safeguard public mental health by stating that the government would never again mandate destructive lockdowns or experimental defective medical products on the population.

Has Britain followed the same terrible trajectory as America: loss of play-based childhood, rise of phone-based, decline of mental health? Yes.
Please see this Google doc, where we assemble all the evidence on both sides. I'm in London this week, would love input from UK

Canada legalised AS in 2016 for people with a reasonably foreseeable death. In 2021, it was expanded to those whose death was not reasonably foreseeable. In 2027, it will be legal on mental health grounds alone.

As MPs debate assisted dying, here’s why having once supported it I now find it v hard to do so. I think state-sanctioned wrongful deaths will be inevitable.
