I’m so proud to be Brummie. A local refugee charity was on the hit list for a fascist ‘demo’ last night. Bullies picking on the most vulnerable. Hundreds turned up to show that we would not leave them isolated in the face of threats, and that it is racists who are not welcome.

We are seeing a tragic reminder of what mental health care learned in 1990s, leading to •assertive outreach teams as national policy - by 2004 every service had one •community treatment order in a revised MH Act in 2007. These are still key to preventing patient homicide.
