There are so many barriers to accessing support for oneβs mental health as a doctor. But this one is huge.. the feeling you should be able to manage your health yourself as you are a doctor. It can be hard to ask for help and itβs therefore itβs even more important we can accessβ¦

I support everyone supporting for NHS Practitioner Health , itβs a very crucial service especially in these times of unprecedented stress & burnout among healthcare staffs.

I have learned more about burnout from my treatment from this service than in my 20+ yr career, and I am still early days recovering.
