How irresponsible can you be. Enfield Council Enfield Dispatch wants to make it difficult for worshippers going to the local churches and the Hindu Temple. They haven’t even considered the damaged it will cause to local business. Madness rick jewell chng.it/zTFJC7Jbdf

Cab #FBPE #NAFO We have disagree. LTNs may work for some but not for people on the rds which get the relocated traffic; not for bus users held up in the additional congestion; not for those dependent on their cars for their livelihood; not for many disabled people.

Cab #FBPE #NAFO fulltimemother The health study you quoted is a perfect example of the inadequate studies LTNs are based on. It only looked and costed the health benefits for those living within LTNs. It didn't assess the health impacts of those outside LTNs who get the relocated traffic. No balance.

Cab #FBPE #NAFO Shimano Steve John Stewart fulltimemother I have concerns about the impartiality of an academic who was observed removing a petition against a LTN scheme near their residence when it comes to interpreting the results.

A LTNer asks "why is it that there is no body of academic research showing all the negatives of LTNs" Funding for LTN research comes from those making millions from LTNs, to support the roll out of LTNs. There's no academic funding for research to show the "negatives of LTNs".

Please stop riding through red lights when pedestrians have the green man to cross the road. These crossings have rotating cones underneath the push button box to alert blind people when it’s safe to cross & it’s not safe when people ride through them on a red light at any speed.

Unbelievable new plan for street charging for #ElectricVehicles in #Enfield from Enfield Council £108 application fee + £1251 construction they'll install groove in pavement to allow you to run cable from house. Then £93 annual fee thereafter. #DaylightRobbery Enfield Dispatch

Mark Shimano Steve Sustrans Living Streets Problem is, LTNs displace traffic rather than reduce. The roads that all motor traffic is funnelled to in urban areas by LTNs are just as residential as those closed off. HTH.

I have always argued that Uber et al would redefine the standard for what is considered acceptable in society. The fact that these stats are released without so much as a peep from the London Assembly is truly scandalous.

A comment from a SE London person: "It protects the posh car-owning houses around the park and slings the traffic onto heavily polluted Blackheath hill, full of social housing. It was removed due to negative impact on busy roads". gbnews.com/lifestyle/cars…

The Times reports Transport Secretary backs LTNs and to remove Conservative restrictions on councils introducing them. More traffic will be relocated on to already busy roads. Where's the sense in that? Where's the justice in that? thetimes.com/uk/transport/a…

neil christie Social Environmental Justice That’s from the same Ipsos who claimed LTNs are popular but didn’t ask residents outside them for their opinions. PS “The available evidence”. Deep sigh.
