Park rangers removed over 10 tents, life-saving belongings, shelter materials, food, a spice rack & tent that served as the #OPS /gathering spot.

This #tent belongs to a couple with a small dog. They were hoping to stay in the #DesignatedArea , and hopefully then to finally get a place and move on with their lives. Now they have nothing.

Park board said they were coming at 8 am to do a clean up. Then they showed up at 7:30 am and started seizing people’s tents

Acts of criminalization include bylaws and policies that seek to displace or fine people for the act of being homeless or that counter measures to reduce drug related harms.
