6 years ago today, a lone, white male drove a van down a busy street in #Toronto , killing 9 women & 2 men, injuring multiple other individuals.

We remember the victims & recognize the ongoing trauma their families/friends face today.

Pierre Poilievre has removed Karen Vecchio from her role as the Chair of the Status of Women Committee. Karen is a hard working MP who has worked relentlessly on issues facing women and Canadians. Pierre, @VecchioMustStay

Seeing the tributes to Karen Vecchio is a testament to her values and fierce advocacy to always put women and girls at the heart of all she did. As Chair, she had no time for partisan games - she just wanted to “get ‘er done” We wouldn’t have Keira’s Law without her.
