Lesley Goodburn Ruth Evans MBE at PEN Unfortunately I don’t think the answer is stories. The quant lovers ultimately aren’t swayed by them. The answer probably involves using qual to get the quant people to ask better questions.

I’m sure reducing benefit over payments (of any kind) polls well in isolation but when you look at the devastating impact in the real world on carers, and the cruel way Gov is managing this, it can’t go on. Not to mention social care would collapse entirely without family carers.

Most of us will become unpaid carers at some point in our lives! Not giving unpaid carers the support they deserve is a form of slavery!

The voluntary sector is sadly turning into the least diverse of all. Too many leaders seem to believe that 'normal' people can't possibly solve the 'very difficult' problems only they can identify and tackle. It's deeply worrying.
