NPWS appeals to all hunters not to hunt over the coming days in order to allow wild birds time to re-fuel and to recover from the cold snap.   A temporary voluntary ban has been agreed with NARGC and ICSA, and NPWS will continue to monitor weather data from Met Éireann.

This amazing field trip was right on my doorstep in Co. #Kilkenny and a farm on our NPWS Data farm plan scheme.
The land is managed using #conservationgrazing on semi-natural grassland.
An important site for #biodiversity and in particular #waxcap fungi.
