As a lawyer who admittedly does not do election law, this part looks really suspicious to me and probably prohibits issue campaigns from doing a whole bunch of usual campaign things.

Ohio passed clean extensions to the certification deadline for both Obama and Romney in 2012 and for Trump in 2020. Rather than doing that now to get Biden on the ballot, Gov. DeWine and Matt Huffman are playing partisan games to undermine the initiative process. It’s despicable.
