I've been covering the WGA strike pickets since May 2. They will not 'settle' they've proved their grit and I have 6 hours of footage to prove it

The WGA has spent years building trust with our members through honesty and transparency. The AMPTP has spun and distorted the truth and outright lied at every turn.

These games are a waste of time and money, Carol. Our members know who to believe.

Now granted, it may have been hard for them to “hear from the WGA” while our negotiators were getting yelled at by billionaires for two hours — but ending their “new”timeline with an obvious lie tells you all you need to know about the rest of their statement.

Make special note of that final line on 8/18: “AMPTP has not heard from the Guild since that time.”

Which is funny because on when they released their offer to the public on 8/22, this was the headline.

But now, a full 28 days after their one and only counter offer, the AMPTP has released their own timeline of events — one that conveniently omits their 8/22 dirty trick and tries to make it seem like the WGA is the problem rather than their own failure to agree on a counter.

After today’s WGA message called out the studios’ and steamers’ failure to get on the same page, the AMPTP has released a statement of their own — and they’re trying to rewrite the past. But there’s just one problem:
