her voice
like a plaintive lamb
stirring these waters

so i'll hold on to the edge
of these feelings
knowing that i need more

and hope its enough

She looked out the window
But voices came from the kitchen…
Chaotic footprints in color and powder!
Did they know that it was her?
The Diya still burnt,
Oh she must lift her veil!

just a puff of cloud
in a rising sun

just a hint of moisture
in a quickening wind

just a shine
of billowing cumulus
glacial white
in ascending plumes

bottoms darken
a funnel descends

just a day for me
to marvel
at mother nature

a life destroyed
for someone else

grief taught me the true power of shining through the layers of black

rapidly shifting #hive ,
like fall leaves
(muddy clothes & legos)
from lone tree shedding
(naked like the day
it sprouted - wild boy)
everywhither (ramen noodles)
sneaked popsicles
(evidence of sticky sticks)
clothes after clothes changed
(raking falling leaves all day)

the things I thought I had buried deep have bloomed again with a vengeance

Just as we #ennoble the leopard by giving it wings, so we enrich our belief by giving it voice. Sing the melody of astonishment to the green of the grass and the taste of salt by the shore. Recite words of crafting to conjure joy from the mountains. Speak no more of me.
