Last night on Chris Philp (a former Home Office minister) failed to distinguish between the DRC and Rwanda, a superb question from the audience, the reactions say it all.

We pay Philp £110k per year.

Otto English People are focusing on the damages owed to Loozza Fox’s two victims, but it will be the estimated £2 million in legal costs for the court case that ruins him (unless Jeremy Hosking is willing to bail him out). It’ll rise to three million if he launches an appeal that is doomed.

Whilst our public services crumble, Rishi Sunak pays a 23% tax rate on his £2,200,000 income.

If we tax wealth, we could pay for the high-quality public services we need.

'Rwanda is a different country from Congo isn't it?' says Chris Philp, when an audience member talks about the unrest between Congo and Rwanda and asks if, based on that, we’d send refugees there.

Is he simple?

The reactions are like a renaissance painting.

Starmer must NOT be cowed by the client media re. Rayner. If he does it'd just confirm that they're in control. The Labour govt. must make press reform a priority unless they want every move they make to be shat on by Murdoch. Take a stand, end their chokehold on our democracy.

Having delivered just 5,900 of the promised 20,000 new places; government is releasing prisoners up to 60 days early due to overcrowding!

incompetence is directly impacting and breaking yet another promise of being 'tough on '.

The police and Tory government only serve and protect each other. Britain is riddled with corruption, it happens in plain sight but many lap up the distractions and divisive culture wars, which run on the insulting assumption that poor equals racist, so they get away with it.
