It's time to march - governments aren't prioritising our natural world and nature needs our collective voice. See you there! restorenaturenow.com

Calling MPs, can you please from the Bill and vote for Lords Amendment 48 on Wednesday!

It's been a shambles so far but the plans for Ministers, not Parliament, to make decisions threaten nature as well as democracy. action.wildlifetrusts.org/page/128516/ac…

I've just signed the petition calling on Oxfordshire County Council to implement a cycle lane and traffic lights at plain roundabout - if you agree, join me here: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/make… you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/make… via 38 Degrees

More needless destruction of mature trees today on Headington Hill to make way for accommodation blocks for Oxford Brookes' students. Hard to believe this is happening in a conservation area and in a climate & nature crisis.

Scenes of devastation on Headington Hill in Oxford as 100 mature trees, many oaks, are felled to make way for new accommodation blocks for Oxford Brookes' students. Eco-destruction on an industrial scale.

Spotted this poster on the Marston Road today. It shows the pain and anger local people feel about the Brookes' Clive Booth Student Village decision: pain at the loss of so many mature trees and anger at the way the decision was pushed through by Oxford City Council.

I am utterly appalled at Oxford City Council's decision (during COP26) to grant Oxford Brookes Uni permission to fell 100 mature trees and build 6 storey brick tower blocks in the Headington Hill Conservation Area. They will be visible day and night (lit up) for decades to come.

🚨Positive news alert🚨

We are excited to announce the first crane fledgling in 500 YEARS at RSPB Otmoor reserve! Cranes were once a widespread breeding bird in the UK, but were driven to extinction through habitat loss and numbers have been in decline over the last 400 years...

An owl obviously spotted something to eat even in the snow. They are wonderful creatures, but they don’t take prisoners!

This is Park Farm field in Marston. Would you buy a house built here? That’s what the Local Plan for Oxford 2036 is going to allow. Up to now this was Green Belt land. For lots of good reasons!
