The Assembly Privacy Cmte today approved my facial recognition bill, #AB1814 , 10-0-1. It prohibits CA law enforcement from proceeding w/ a search, arrest, or affidavit for a warrant based solely on a facial recognition match. There must additional evidence before moving forward.
