We're excited to announce #AlphaFold 3 with Google DeepMind in nature: our new AI model for predicting biomolecule structures with unprecedented breadth and accuracy.
Expanding beyond proteins to tackle DNA, RNA, small molecules to fuel advances in biology & drug design 🧵
We’re hiring! We’re looking for a Reviews Editor to work across our journals (Development, J Cell Science, Journal of Experimental Biology, DMM Journal). If you’ve got excellent communication skills and a broad interest in science, this is a job for you!
Location: Cambridge UK

Over 34 years ago, MRC-LMB Cell Biology's John Kilmartin first purified yeast spindle bodies with their attached spindle microtubules. Still going strong he has now collaborated with David Barford's lab to reveal how gamma tubulin nucleates microtubules.
Congratulations to Emmanuel Derivery (DeriveryLab), Group Leader in MRC-LMB Cell Biology, who is the 2024 recipient of the Hooke Medal from BSCB!
