Dignified and humbling resignation from Humza Yousaf. Under his leadership, the SG have supported people across the country by investing in affordable housing, tackling child poverty and fighting against inequalities, all against a very challenging political and economic climate.

I would like to thank Humza for the energy, enthusiasm and integrity he has shown over the last year. We now need experience, engagement and unity, and I very much hope that John Swinney will put himself forward.
