It's almost like the £6.5bn 'saving' from privately-financed redevelopment of Euston is an entirely tactic to create an unfunded headache for the next government. Almost. ft.com/content/62a7e1…

I will miss City Hall and the wonderful staff team there, and especially miss the chance to work alongside Zoë Garbett in the run up to the general election. She will be a superb Assembly Member and I can’t wait to see the impact she will have! 👏💚🙏 london.gov.uk/who-we-are/wha…

Great to be on BBC London yesterday talking about London's housing crisis (out of character).

You can't blame any single actor for London's persistent underdelivery of homes, but we're at the point where we can't rule any source of land out.

Labour have finished up with 10 of the 14 London Assembly constituency seats (+1), Conservatives with 3 (-2) and Lib Dems 1 (+1). Now waiting for the outcome of the D'Hondt calculations to determine who gets the other 11 seats. Somewhere in City Hall an abacus is running hot.

So just about summing up the impact the Susan Hall AM campaign has had, she has won Havering & Redbridge by about the same Tory winning margin as last time

The Tories have lost the South West London Assembly constituency to the Lib Dems - the first time the party has won such a seat.

From the OnLondon elections guide, Lewis Baston's chart of all past results. This year is FPTP of course but even so note that 1st preference leads under the previous voting system (SV) have only once been in double figures.
