It’s a sad coincidence that #Vanuatu today celebrates placing #1 on the Happy Planet Index on the same day this shocking report is released by ABC Pacific. As the report notes, 60%+ of ni-Vanuatu women have been abused by a male partner.

This is a major problem in the Pacific now. The difficulty with GCF accreditation for PIC’s means that third parties and NGOs are increasingly accessing climate finance, with associated administration budgets, on behalf of PICs. The Loss and Damage fund must address this 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
