Celebrating President Biden’ action to cancel  $7.7 BILLION more in student loan debt, which totals $167 billion in loan relief from this Administration!

Despite the many obstacles blocking our way, Democrats will continue to fight for the progress Americans deserve.

As policymakers work to develop a comprehensive framework for the use of AI, we must all take care to ensure that civil rights and the principles of our democracy are baked into this emerging tech.

Because once it gets out, there will be no putting the genie back in the bottle.

Today should have been Michael Brown’s 28th birthday.

Instead, it is a tragic reminder of a life taken far too soon, and the violent bigotry and hatred Black men continue to face in America.

There is no debate – our nation must do more to protect Black lives.

Since President Johnson first launched Project Head Start in 1965, Head Start programs have served as essential resources for low-income families to give their children the equitable, quality education they deserve.

I’ll always rise to ensure Head Start remains properly funded.

#OTD in 1954, SCOTUS declared that racial segregation in schools was unconstitutional in its historic Brown v. BOE ruling, creating a legacy that affirms every child deserves an education and that separation is inherently unequal.

But our fight to secure that truth persists.

Millions of American families across every community and background rely on the Affordable Connectivity Program for the broadband access they need to navigate daily life.

They’re counting on Congress to preserve its future.

And Republican leadership is letting them down.

It’s past time Congress takes action to bridge the disparate health outcomes bringing life-long harms to Black women.

I’m proud to stand alongside Rep. Shontel Brown and our colleagues to support the #UFIGHT Act and, at long last, win this essential fight against uterine fibroids.

As the market reaches new all-time highs and inflation falls to its lowest level in three years, we can tie a straight line from these wins to the policies of President Biden and House Democrats.

And our work to make life more affordable for American families isn’t close to finished.

Building up our nation’s broadband infrastructure only to rip away Americans’ access to the Affordable Connectivity Program is simply nonsensical.

It’s time for Republican leadership to save this critical program by giving my bill, the ACP Extension Act, a vote in the House.

House Democrats are committed to overcoming the gun violence epidemic and making all our communities safer.

We passed generational gun safety legislation to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals, because the only path to ending this crisis is through our action.

Our communities deserve modern infrastructure that supports our fight against the climate crisis.

That’s why I’m celebrating $18 BILLION in investments from the U.S. EPA in clean water and energy, advancing environmental justice, and other essential priorities.
