I am not a tech person, but hard to imagine the brains are not out there to create a twitter alternative that is owned by multiple sane persons. How hard can it be?

One guy owning HIS OWN NETWORK OF SATELLITES and deciding which side in a WAR gets to use it based on however he's feeling that day.

That's where we're at.
