The next joint AGS & SRGC show and plant fair will take place this Saturday at Kirkbie Kendal School, Lound Road, Kendal, LA9 7EQ.

The plant fair opens at 10am & the show hall at 11.15am. Alongside our members' sales table there will be eight specialist nurseries attending.

Sue and I were thrilled to be awarded one of the Alpine Garden Societies highest awards at the AGM yesterday - The Lyttel Trophy - in recognition of our being 'Stalwarts in growing a range of Alpines, Bulbs and Dwarf Shrubs and supporters of a range of AGS and SRGC Shows.'

We pay tribute to the famous Latvian botanist, Jānis Rukšāns following his 77th b/day & the milestone of around 65 years involvement with collecting, breeding & growing bulbs. Download IRG165 here: srgc.net/documents/irg/…
