Christian looney says the Bible is the absolute objective guide to morality.... then says the Bible condoning slavery in the Old and New Testaments is 'judging people by today's standards.' These people would be hilarious if they weren't so scary.

No belief system, ideology, culture, cultural practice, belief or idea deserves to automatically be respected.

In fact to do so is potentially extremely dangerous and intrinsically counter-progressive.

Since human beings only have any chance of progressing by questioning things…

And this is the key point. Having areas of BOTH long and short grass maximises biodiversity in your garden. Long grass attracts some species, short grass attracts others. Having both is best.
