This intervention was made to call into the question the legitimacy of work undertaken by the UK research institute.

We are deeply concerned at this wholly political attack on our colleague and UCU Scotland officer, Professor Kate Sang. We are further concerned by the public response of Professor Dame Ottoline Leyser which shows no respect for Professor Sang's privacy or rights. Officers will meet soon to respond

Professor Sang's account is protected, and it is not for me to quote her post. What people should be concerned about without knowing the context of the post is that this issue is being played out in public by a Cabinet Secretary and Professor Dame Ottoline Leyser with a lack of due process.
