Mycelium bricks are not as strong as a conventional brick – but are much lighter: 60 times as light as the conventional brick: 43 kg/m3 as opposed to 2,400 kg/m3.

I think the world needs to know that the underside of certain fungi have maze-like patterns instead of standard gills or pores and these fungi are commonly called mazegills!

This really made my day. Ciboria caucus, Alder cup #fungi shedding spores! It's a tiny little Ascomycete fungi growing on fallen Alder catkins!
