Agree w James: the worst outliers are increasingly clear&isolated. But that bunch in the middle (incl Manchester): that’s around a 9% deduction on annual salary. Far better than where we were, thanks to UMUCU colleagues & esp branch negotiators, but still absolutely punitive.

Like many unis, Keele University 🐿️ set out to break the union during the MAB. With indefinite 50% deductions they sought to deter, punish, create hardship and division.
We organised wage sharing and hugely disrupted assessment. Now we are on strike all week.
We will NOT be broken.
