Ignoring aging doesn't make sense either. So many diseases (cancer, AD, T2D) are exacerbated with age.

Understanding the biology of aging should be a key focus area of biology's future, especially yielding novel biology and targets for future drugs.

Strong agree Robert Nelsen . Amazing how much we underreact when we actually could do something (and then overreact afterwards ...).

AI models of human biology are models -- they are approximations and have flaws, but will allow us to go past the limitations of animal models.
