A special thanks to all of agencies that responded to the building fire at 116 Main St. We received assistance from 10 communities, and many organizations. Crews overcame many challenges and worked hard to protect the public and minimize property loss.

Wayland/Sudbury crews found an elderly male who was lost in the Heard Pond area. He was found by boat searching the pond. He was transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Wayland crews responded to Sudbury for the transport of 2 year old child who fell from shopping cart. Wayland ambulance transported to Wayland Town Hall to landing zone. Life flight transported 1 patient to Boston.

There are numerous road closures due to utility emergencies. Currently the following roads are closed: Loblolly, Clubhouse and Pequot Rd. Please call 911 if you see any downed wires.
