A special thanks to all of agencies that responded to the building fire at 116 Main St. We received assistance from 10 communities, and many organizations. Crews overcame many challenges and worked hard to protect the public and minimize property loss.

Wayland/Sudbury crews found an elderly male who was lost in the Heard Pond area. He was found by boat searching the pond. He was transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Avoid the area of 266 Cochituate Road (Rt 27) due to mvc involving utilities. 1 lane of road is closed.

Wayland crews responded to Sudbury for the transport of 2 year old child who fell from shopping cart. Wayland ambulance transported to Wayland Town Hall to landing zone. Life flight transported 1 patient to Boston.

Crews clearing from a MVC involving a car and school bus. Accident occurred in area of 27 Pequot Rd. Driver of car transported to trauma center. No students transported for medical treatment.

Many downed trees and wires in town with blocked roads. Wires fell on school bus on Loker rd. All occupants removed safely.

River Rd. And Pelham Island Rd. Are closed due to flooding. Motorist should not attempt to drive on roads that are flooded.

There are numerous road closures due to utility emergencies. Currently the following roads are closed: Loblolly, Clubhouse and Pequot Rd. Please call 911 if you see any downed wires.

Old Connecticut Path has been closed in the area of Wallace Road due to a motor vehicle accident with a utility pole across the road. Expect an extended closure.

D Group just extinguished a detached garage fire at 12 Castlegate. Cause of fire under investigation.
