When UWESO - UG MCV had an influx of children rescued from the streets by Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), NGOs like Dwelling Places & Church of Uganda, with other community members volunteered to help. Most children have been rehabilitated & volunteers honored with Certificates by CEO Jolly Kamugira.

With limited space, kitchen gardening is the way to go! Akello began with just 10 eggplant seedlings but has expanded, now enjoying eating, selling, and sharing with neighbors. 'The beauty of kitchen gardens is harvesting directly into your kitchen,' she shared. #KitchenGardens
