My family’s American dream started in a Clarksburg, WV coal mine, so this picture hits home.

From what I’ve been told, after his shift, he raced to be with his son & watch our team. Don’t know who this is, but I have tickets for him & his family at Rupp to be treated as VIPs!!

'At an old medical center in western Ukraine, war amputees are forming a community as they adjust to their new lives.' What a photo by David Guttenfelder, on today's NYT front page.

Likewise new CNN polls show Ds +15 for PA Gov, +6 for PA Senate & MI Gov, +2 for WI Gov & -1 in WI Senate. Close states are close & maybe bottom falls out at end for Ds w/late deciding voters (who may be more sensitive to economy) but narrative of big R surge seems...premature?

The NAEP scores and NYT article are misleading a lot of people to conclude remote school didn't correlate with lower scores. That's bc state data are too crude

Multiple analyses comparing districts show an overt correlation btwn time out of school and learning loss

Alec MacGillis Justin Townes Earle died just this way. Anecdotally Fentanyl is being added to marijuana as well and there are many street vendors in Uptown Manhattan. Not sure if true. But my wife and I have called 911 four times recently for people incapacitated near our home.

We've come a long way from 'What's The Matter With Kansas?' to the increasingly common take that voters are silly to be worried about gas prices with <everything else going on>.

Pretty shocking.

-Stacey Abrams' voting rights org spent $25m in last 2 yrs

-Largely on one legal case

-To a small firm run by her close friend and campaign manager

-They lost

-The fees were way above typical

Very good investigation:

Internal CNN spat?

The piece describes the “devastating effect of the Covid-19 pandemic”

Jake Tapper, in Tweeting the piece, changes to “the devastating effect of COVID policies”

Tapper’s framing is the correct and honest one.
