One reason Americans enjoy visiting Japanese or European cities is that they can walk around at any time of day or night — even in parks — without much fear of crime or violence. I think safety is a good thing and Democrats shouldn’t dismiss people who say they feel unsafe.

Americans returning to offices aren't returning to lovely and pleasant cities like Amsterdam and Oslo. Hard for downtown Atlanta or Houston to compete with Mexican beaches or colonial cities. I think opposition to office work will remain a big problem.

My God. He couldn't buy gun from licensed gun dealer (but was able to buy anyway). Mom then called authorities, worried (what do moms know?). This being America, the important thing is that this school shooter was able to buy and keep and use his gun!
