Such a pleasure to sing John Passion last night, on the 300th anniversary of it’s 1st performance, St Giles Cripplegate w/ City of London Choir The Hanover Band Mark Williams Sam Boden Themba Mvula Augusta Hebbert & Will Frost - what a timeless masterpiece, still as visceral & moving 300 years on!

Huge thanks and congratulations to Will Frost for jumping in to sing baritone arias so beautifully at very short notice. And wonderful to sing with soloists Themba Mvula Augusta Hebbert Anna Harvey 👏👏👏

Such fun to sing (and dance!) in “Kulinarisch Musikalisch” on Saturday Deutsche Oper am Rhein, a pastiche opera on the theme of food and drink, where I played the chef and sang repertoire from Weinberg to Disney! All derived & directed by wonderful Julia Langeder - the audience loved it!❤️

.@annaharveymezzo won First Prize at the ParisOperaComp in 2022. Some of her other roles include Hänsel, Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus), Varvara (Katya Kabanova), Ariodante, Goffredo (Rinaldo) and Ruggiero (Alcina).

Embracing the German romantic repertoire, this season for Anna also includes debuts in a new production of Parsifal and Mary in The Flying Dutchman.

Recently Anna Harvey made her role debut as Octavian in Düsseldorf with Axel Kober, with whom she has also sung Brigitta in a new production of Die tote Stadt as well as Flosshilde and Siegrune in the company’s Ring Cycle.

I’m really looking forward to my professional staged debut as Olga in 'Eugene Onegin' Deutsche Oper am Rhein today - I sang the nurse and mother during my student days, so it’s wonderful to finally play the daughter!
