Profound immune dysfunction, t-cell exhaustion, dysautonomia & SARS-CoV-2 viral persistence in bone marrow... I think NIHR Research owes patients an apology for blowing millions on obesity/diet shake, CBT & exercise studies back in 2021, & doing next to nothing since.

Someone tell the PM that the issue with sick(fit) notes is not the notes themselves but the deteriorating health of the nation. The PM address should’ve been about how to improve population health & reduce the health determinants gap not about punitive measures for the sick.

From the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on Covid infection-
‘Most reported symptom … was a runny nose, followed by a cough. Other common symptoms were tiredness, a sore throat and a headache.

Do you ever find yourself struggle to catch your breath, taking a deep breath or taking a bunch of breaths between words when talking?

That’s known as air hunger.

Here's a good reason from Dr. Scheldon Kress on why some patients with Dysautonomia suffer with this.

Conor Browne With the increasing evidence mounting up about viral persistence & long-term illness, it’s astonishing that more businesses aren’t factoring this into resilience strategies, & implementing their own Covid awareness & safety programmes.

Conor Browne Those infected with SARS in 2003 (when studied 8 years out - with no vaccines) found human health increasingly worse across the board.

People could simply not show symptoms for a while...(this happens in HIV, I believe). We knew this was possible.

4. As such, we face a future with an ever-increasing percentage of the global population suffering from chronic health conditions as a result of SARS-CoV-2 infection or re-infection. Viral persistence + high transmissibility + fast re-infection is a bad combination.

3. It is vital to remember that SARS-CoV-2 is a highly transmissible virus with a propensity to relatively rapidly re-infect people. At the population level, this means that viral persistence - with all the health problems it can potentially cause - may well become the norm.

This phenomenon of viral persistence is obviously no surprise to the many extremely talented researchers who have been mooting it for years.

6) the results of point 5 may push some into poverty, further exacerbations health inequality
