Its a shame this article bothered to use the “it’s a dangerous profession” quote. It’s entitlement and violent misogyny that creates danger for sex workers, not going to work.

The anniversary of Canada’s first 24/7 emergency shelter for street-based sex workers takes place after Homelessness Action Week & on the heels of a somber BC Coroners Service report showing a “rapid increase in deaths among people experiencing homelessness” in our communities.
