Blatant porky pie from Ben Houchen in debate this morning. Claimed that Teesworks panel report 'says it was value for money'. Nowhere does it say this; it gives plenty of reasons to doubt it and concludes insufficient transparency and oversight 'to evidence value for money'.

The total number of confirmed cases in England has risen sharply from 555 at the end of January to 1,468 as of the end of February.

At the same time last year, there had been just 18 confirmed cases!
