This is quite a take. Has Fareed missed every student movement of his lifetime?

Maybe college kids are protesting because they’re opposed to the slaughter of innocents. And because they’re in the actual community of rights.

I know this is being normalized extremely quickly, but let’s take a step back, put political analysis aside, and think about how insane this is. Students across the country are being arrested by actual police for sitting on the lawns of their universities with tents and signs.

The ableism that underlies these calls for Sotomayor to retire at the age of 69 really, really ought to be interrogated.

Unfortunately, most of the press and the legal commentariat aren't equipped to have that conversation.

To anyone thinking that the attack on the World Central Kitchen was an accident, I got a bridge I'd like to sell you.

So, it’s Tuesday and it seems there will be no food from World Central Kitchen to feed starving Palestinian children, and no Al Jazeera to document the ongoing slaughter machine in Gaza.

I couldn't agree more. 'Essential Functions of the Job with/without reasonable accommodations' is what the law says.

Would be nice if folks remembered it given how hard folks fought for it.

This is an attack on a free press and incompatible with a liberal, democratic society.
