📢 This week, SNP MSP Stephanie Callaghan sponsored an exhibition in the Scottish Parliament by Held In Our Hearts on their new project aiming to bridge the gap from clinical to community care in Scotland, providing opt-out bereavement support after pregnancy, baby, or infant loss.

Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week 2024 runs from Monday 29th April – Sunday 5th May and it’s a week dedicated to opening up about all maternal mental health issues before, during and after pregnancy. This year’s theme for the week is ‘Rediscovering You’.

Held In Our Hearts not only supports parents shortly after their precious baby has died, but we also continue to offer specialized support through any subsequent pregnancies.

We are so grateful and thankful for all those who have signed up to the Edinburgh Marathon Festival Weekend, so far we are sitting at an incredible 85 participants.

We are proud to offer specialised perinatal mental health support after loss and into a subsequent pregnancy and beyond. Losing a baby or young child is traumatic and, in some cases, it can lead to PTSD and complex PTSD.

Room’s 4 and 6 had an interesting first day of WOW week! We met MSP Stephanie Callaghan who gave us an insight to working in the Scottish Parliament before learning life saving skills with the paramedics! We also had Cassajojo cakes in to give us some tips for owning your own business!

We are so proud of Mrs Docherty who ran the London Marathon on Sunday! In doing so has raised £5,237 for the mental health charity, Young Minds. Still has a spring in her step today 🏅🎉🏆a champion in every way 👏
