I expect that we will see a few Green-winged Orchids posted tonight. Lots of rosettes showing but still not flowered, could be a good year? #wildflowerhour Sussex Wildlife Trust π¦ Sussex Botanical Recording Society Wild Orchids UK & Ireland Britain's Orchids
2/2 Coralroot (Cardamine bulbifera) - not a great phone-snap, but you can see the little red/brown bulbils in the leaf axils that drop off and hopefully lead to new plants π€π»

Common Milkwort - Polygala vulgaris - just starting to show in this part of Sussex. We mostly get beautiful but similar blues, over at Castle Hill the variety gets much more exciting. I suppose it is the Brighton influence. #wildflowerhour Sussex Wildlife Trust π¦ Sussex Botanical Recording Society

In a walk through the Babylon Down woods, Willingdon, Eastbourne, sad to see many dead Fraxinus excelsior; many still covered with Lecanora chlarotera/hybocarpa & Metzgeria furcata. Good to see 3 young Daphne laureola in the woods though Woodland Trustπ³ BSBI: Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland
