I'm always too stiff & sore in the mornings; something to do with your spine/skeleton elongating while you sleep, due to lack of vertical pressure, & so tendons around joints stretch = stiffness when you get up? Any medics out there, if this is utter borrocks, please let me know?

These last few Spring evenings have been just glorious. If you've not been out for a stretch, just TAKE THAT FIRST STEP; you'll wonder why you've made such a meal of it. And the payback is enormous. You're 'too busy/tired', (or can't be arsed!)? Running GIVES you energy!

No, but you go for it; break a leg. Oh, and as someone else has pointed out, Tennis doesn't have world records. Minor point.

A fine example of what Brighton have missed for months now. Mitoma just one of BHAFC squad injuries, that've had a truly devastating effect on our season. Yeah, yeah, 'all clubs have injuries', but Brighton's have been HUGE; Mitoma, March, Hinshelwood, Pedro, Gilmour, etc etc...

Clearly some brilliant running Penn Relays - but what could possibly explain such vast improvements on a 15-year old record, set by a legendary quartet of names? Maybe they weren't so good after all, or is there an

What a blast it was at the adidas Road to Records 2024 festival of elite racing, & such a privilege to have commentated on this World Record. Note: Emmanuel Wanyonyi & Marco Arop (won Saturday's Road 800m) are both big fellas, & their clashes this summer will be VERY special.

I should probably know this, but why in this great early season Mile race, is the Finish Line (tape being held rather randomly?), not at the....er....Finish Line?

I'm hating this period, but confident it's an injury-driven drop in form for Brighton & Hove Albion Our injuries have been off the chart & have upset the balance of the team. The remaining 'fit' squad guys are lame, tired and/or inexperienced. Roll on August, fresh legs & a full squad.

You're one year older than me, not that I think age is that relevant. And of course everyone has their own level of modesty as well as taste. I just happen to think that shorts over tights looks silly. And as for 'modesty', as I say, watch a track meet from the last 30-35 years..

This was being done by health insurance comp's yrs ago. Clocking in at the gym registered in their system & you got credits, giving you, the insured, a saving on premiums. It IS a no-brainer, & a great incentive to be 'healthier'. But it has to be carrot rather than stick...

Nah, doesn't cut it. I'm thinking you must be new to Running and Athletics (Track & Field). You're going to get a heck of a shock when you see a few track meets..........

And I'll be doing my best, along with the oh-so-knowledgeable Carrie Tollefson & the occasional few words of wisdom from a certain Mr.Gebrselassie Haile Gebrselassie, to embellish the racing here in 'Herzo'. They've had many records here over the last 3 yrs, but GREAT Racing? Guaranteed!

To be honest, I had assumed that Gianmarco Tamberi was jumping in front of a home crowd at the European Athletics Champs in Rome this coming June! Now I KNOW he is, & that nearly every major European star of Athletics is competing in Rome. Got tickets? Why not? It's going 2B a blast!!

Re-the World Relays Bahamas I know there's a World Feed commentary going out, but don't know as yet, where that broadcast will be available; I'm not working on it, so it's not been a priority finding out, in a very busy month for me. Maybe ask World Athletics ?

After a flying-visit weekend to World Athletics Team Champs in Antalya, Turkey - where Olympic places were decided - it's time for a long, slow jog along the Lagan in Belfast. Not at all similar, but both very special places in totally different ways.
