Monday's Humanitarian Conference in Paris was critical to raising funds and attention for Sudan - a country that has been chronically overlooked and under-resourced.

The conflict in Sudan has heightened risks of GBV, especially for women and girls.

Children are significantly vulnerable, with a five-fold increase in violations, killings, and recruitment by armed groups.

Urgent action is needed to protect civilians.
