Great to finally take part in the Pallid Swift influx.

The white throat quite distinct even in dying light. Hirundine like feeding and more of a tendency to glide compared to Common Swifts.

A good view of the Radde’s Warbler at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea with Sarah for seconds otherwise very elusive.

The apricot rump was an amazing colour!

Sadly, no photo but the Red-Flanked Bluetail showed better at Whitley Bay Cemetery.

My Collared Pratincole photos yesterday at RSPB Saltholme.

I’m very happy on the underwing I saw in good light when I initially spotted it and the longer tail in flight that it is a Collared.
