There is great motivation among researchers to act on the pathogenesis of #type1diabetes . What do we know about how #T1D develops? And what starting points does this process offer? Article Artsenkrant Professor Cm [Dutch/French] innodia.eu/downloads/pdf/…
Very happy to present our study on the off-target activity of the genome editor Cas9. It has been in the works for a long time. Huge thanks and congratulations to Martin Pacesa and all our collaborators Caribou Biosciences Giulia Palermo and Allain lab.

Work lead by our CSO Marc Güell at UPF Medicine and Life Sciences and collaborative effort by talented scientists Dimitrije, Júlia Mir Pedrol and our CEO AvenciaSanchezMejias.
Our former preprint “Zmiz1 is required for mature β-cell function….” is now published Molecular Metabolism!
Huge thanks to all contributing authors! Shout-out to the MacDonald Lab Patrick MacDonald and our collaborators Nicole Krentz Anna Gloyn for such a great team effort!

Great to see this out! Vikash Chandra and Hazem Ibrahim were able to pinpoint a specific role for TYK2 in controlling the endocrine progenitor cell cycle. Collaborative effort within INNODIA supports the use of TYK2 inhibitors for T1D prevention. rdcu.be/cYkB2
Checkout our new paper deciphering the role of the T1D gene TYK2 on beta-cell development and interferon responses.
Thankful for the great collaborative effort!

Oocytes rely on maternal mRNAs for development into healthy eggs. But where and how are these mRNAs stored?
Our latest work in Science Magazine shows that mammalian oocytes store mRNAs in a mitochondria-associated membraneless compartment (MARDO). bit.ly/3MNQSf1 (1/9)
New paper from Manzanares lab lab Centro Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa (CSIC-UAM) out today in Cell Reports! Together with Ana Losada’s lab Losada Lab CNIO Stop Cancer and led by María José Andreu, we studied CTCF in early mouse development (cell.com/cell-reports/f…) 1/n
Have you ever wondered why stem cells of the gut have such a peculiar shape? So did we. Happy to share our latest results Science Advances including last bits of my thesis work Katajisto Lab 🥳
