Great event, V well organised. Disappointing that ESAA XC are so extraordinarily not #runequal how do we explain to our daughters/nieces/athletes who train with boys that they cannot race the same distance, and race shorter than their younger team mates. Please address this.

Congratulations to our very own Maddie Hughes in yr11 who last week represented Great Britain women’s team in the U20 European Triathlon Championships which she won the event in Valencia!!! Well done Maddie, what an achievement!!

Maddie competed in Valencia in the ‘21 European Champs....and won the u20 sprint age group although she is only 15! She has trained extremely hard and put in every effort to improve her swim time....she has trained with us from a very young age! 🎉

Thank you to all involved in organising, setting up and marshalling - all at short notice - wonderful to see so many athletes back out doing what they love 👍
