I'm old enough to remember when cheating on your pregnant wife with a porn star that reminds you of your daughter would hurt you with the evangelical vote in a Presidential campaign.

How can trusts defend clinical negligence claims if major procedures are carried out by people without a medical degree, surgical training and, currently, professional regulation? Would anyone really have given informed consent to this? NHS Resolution must surely stop this.

Devastating comments on Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England & GMC’s willingness to let non-doctors - physician associates - perform potentially life-threatening surgeries.

This is a national scandal.

A patient safety debacle.

Just appalling.

The absolute state of this. Our NHS, degraded & broken by 14 years of underfunding & understaffing. Unforgivable suffering for patients & staff 😔

The state of the NHS after 14 yrs of deliberate, calculated government underfunding - patients put at risk by hospital ceilings literally collapsing.

They’re destroying NHS staff, buildings, morale & capacity to care.

And they just don’t care.

It is a massive problem for the GMC, NHSE, many colleges & 'senior leaders' in NHS trusts - the vast majority of doctors have zero trust in them, and so zero faith they will be listened to. I don't know how you restore trust now it is broken, but again don't trust them to fix it
