As soon as I saw his clips, when we signed him, I've been super-excited. Yes, he's been struggling to fit in & get with the EPL pace, but he'll be a huge force for BHAFC nxt season. With Mitoma, Pedro, Gilmour, Gross (🙏), Dunky, JP, Adingra, etc..Albion will be quite something!

My impression, trying 2B objective, remains that BHAFC's injuries have been SO huge this season, that they've undermined our entire season, & to be Top-6 again. Most other EPL clubs have had either bigger squads, or fewer injuries. How big are most EPL first team squads?

That's very true! It's 'gone' now, but it would be useful to know just WHY BHAFC Albion's injuries this season, which have stopped us being Top-6 again, have been SO off the chart. All teams have injuries, etc, etc, but the numbers & frequency of ours has been ridiculous.

Great that Albion can retain players of this calibre & experience. Bring on next season, IF we can keep our top names, & continue to develop our awesome youngsters, Brighton & Hove Albion will have a Top-6 squad with a balance of youth & experience - & please god - injury avoidance..! 🙏

Very classy departing statement indeed. Sorry to see him leave; was hoping his knowledge & experience would be 'mined' by the club for this great squad and for those to come. But he's been an absolute gent, and it's been a privilege to have him in our team.

Easy to forget how brilliant this goal was. Not seen it for a few mths, but my god, the speed, the agility, the strength (to shrug off at least 2 grabs), & then the coolness to slot it past the Keeper. Any team would've been weakened by losing such a player for the run-in.....!

I think way WAY back in the late 70s, Brendan Foster (European 5,000m Champion amongst other things) raced Geoff Capes (21m + in Shot, and genuinely a highly respected budgerigar breeder) over 200m. Geoff exploded out of the blocks, and Brendan a 3:55 miler, never got near him.!!

Totally agree. Great racing is entertaining & repeatable. For a few seasons now, shoe tech advancements have enabled faster times (which is fine, by the way), but 'records' are now a cheapened currency & few set in these last 6-7 yrs, have any relevance before that period.

Warm here at RunCzech's 29th #PragueMarathon this morning, 16-21C during elite racing period. Superb racing nonetheless, and an ETH double, with solid winning times - in conditions surely worth 2-3 minutes or more.

I've long thought that a few 'others' should be able to get in on the 'extra medals from relays' party! How about teams made up of: 1 Thrower, 1 Jumper, 1 M-D runner, & 1 Sprinter? Everyone can sprint, after all. I'd watch - we're in the entertainment game, aren't we?...🤔
