The “Angela Rayner is a victim of class warfare/sexism” line is a perfect example of Progressive Trumpism. Ignore the facts. Just appeal to tribal instincts and hope they distort the debate enough to let your side get away with the exact offence you condemn your opponents for.

He doesn’t need to be briefed on Gaza, for which he has no responsibility. He needs to be briefed on Glasgow, which his party, the SNP, is running into the ground — and that is his responsibility.
