Disturbing news from #Tanzania wherein opposition leader Tundu Antiphas Lissu and several of his colleagues have been arrested — and their whereabouts unknown — after they were scheduled to address the Maasai community in Ngorongoro. The Samia Suluhu government can and must do better.

Last evening, I was informed that Police Force TZ are monitoring my movements. This come just four days of a long text as a warning to Samia Suluhu regime to control me for speaking about Maasai community. Around 4am early today, two cars arrived into my home in Ngorongoro

More than 10 police invaded my place but I was not in the house. If anything is to happen, Samia Suluhu and Police Force TZ bears primary obligation. Otherwise, this does not intimidate or stop me doing what I do, it’s lawful, it’s logical, it’s sensible and no threat can stop me.

Several cars this afternoon again, invades my home and this time, Police Force TZ stole some properties. Without any lawful justification. They stole chairs 🪑 and tents among other items.
