I watched a Hobby being constantly mobbed by Swallows up at Brockfield this morning on my daily dog walk. First one of the year up there for me 🙂

A month to the day since I passed it onto him and my nephew has my old Kawasaki ZX7R rebuilt, running and mot'd after it hadn't run for nearly ten years ❤️🙂

I got to install a couple of the Swift nest boxes today. It was made "easier 🤔😂" with scaffolding and the boxes being fixed onto wooden barge boards. I have no Idea how Jono Leadley does it perched atop a ladder and fastening them into masonry 😮😮🙏@yorkswifts

I inadvertently caught this young Newt (Eft) whilst removing string weed from my pond. I quickly returned it to the pond once I'd freed it from the weed. I counted at least half a dozen Newts at the start of summer and the pond has been full of Efts over the last few weeks 🙂
