We reintroduced this fantabulous wee beastie to the Cheshire Wildlife Trust Holcroft Moss just over two years ago, and it’s increased by over 8-fold in that time! YAY!

There was also a 3-fold increase in plants of Endangered Great Sundew (Drosera anglica) at this secret Cheshire Wildlife Trust managed site after its reintroduction last year! YAY!!

After >150 years of extinction, reintroduced Oblong-leaved Sundew (Drosera intermedia) has seen over a 7-fold increase on this Lancashire Wildlife Trust reserve including lots of young plants and babies!!! YAY!!!🌱❤️

Back in 2018 Joshua Styles of North-West Rare Plant Initiative reintroduced 60 lesser bladderwort plants onto the Manchester Mosslands. As of 2020's monitoring survey, this population numbers more than 180,000 - an incredible re-establishment! Lancashire Wildlife Trust
